Job Title: FedEx Driver
We are hiring dependable Drivers for a FedEx contractor serving three zip codes. This role is responsible for safe, timely package pickup and delivery within the assigned service area.
Job Summary
The Driver will operate a delivery vehicle, load and unload packages, follow daily route plans, and provide professional service to customers. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, physically fit, and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
• Deliver and pick up packages within the assigned area.
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle in compliance with traffic and company policies.
• Load, organize, scan, and unload packages accurately.
• Follow assigned routes and complete deliveries within scheduled time windows.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, exceptions, and missed attempts.
• Follow all FedEx contractor procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required.
• Ability to lift and carry packages, often up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment.
• Previous delivery or driving experience preferred, but not always required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with package delivery, last-mile logistics, or FedEx routes but not mandatory
• Knowledge of the local area and surrounding roads.
Work Schedule
• Full-time or part-time positions available, depending on route needs.
• Early morning start times and variable end times based on delivery volume.
• Some weekend work may be required if you are interested in earning more
