Checklist
- City/State:
- Are you at least 21 years of age?
- Do you have a valid U.S. driver’s license?
- Are you legally authorized to work in the U.S.?
- Can you pass a pre-employment drug screen (includes marijuana)?
- Can you pass a DOT physical examination?
- Have you had fewer than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months?
- Have you had no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, hit and run) in the past 5 years?
- Have you had no at-fault accidents in the past 12 months?
- Can you lift and carry 75 lbs (and up to 150 lbs with a hand truck)?
- Are you comfortable working in all types of weather?
- Are you available to work weekends and holidays if required?
- Are you comfortable making residential deliveries (including stairs)?
- Do you have reliable transportation to and from the terminal?
- Do you have experience using scanners or handheld delivery devices?
- Are you comfortable completing 100–150 stops per day?
- Do you have experience driving step vans or box trucks?
- Have you previously worked for FedEx, UPS, Amazon, DHL, or USPS?
- Are you available to start work within the next 14 days?
- Can you reliably report on time for early morning start times?
- Are you willing to undergo random drug testing during employment?
- Are you comfortable working as part of a team operation?
- Do you understand this is a physically demanding, performance-based role?
- Have you worked for a FedEx contractor in the past 90 days?
- If your FedEx approval lapsed, was it within the last 12 months?
- Do you agree to the no-smoking policy in company vehicles?
